And now, for a selfish post I do want to talk about...

Okay. Okay. I think I'm mad for doing this, but I just had to write it down. These characters belong to their respective owners, one of which I'm not quite sure of the name. Not doing a proper disclaimer because I'm not actually naming any name (no real need to), but the names of the series they come from are in the tags.

( Script format with weird stage directions. Strangely, no real knowledge of either series is required. )

Finished WataKyou today. At the risk of repeating myself, I am so very glad that I've seen this. It isn't in any way like most stuff I usually enjoy and only my determination in following Shunji Igarashi's works (and Hiro Mizushima's, though to a slightly lesser extent) had made me start watching.

Watched WataKyou up to episode 11 (this time with subtitles). I may succumb and watch the last episode raw, but will try to resist because of the limited free time I have these days.

( The subs filled in a few things for me...spoilers up to episode 10 (and preview for 11). These observations are not general and probably make little to no sense to anyone not following the show. )

I have this written down a week or so back, but only just managed to locate my note on it. So I'm one episode behind now, but simply don't have time to hunt up the raw, especially when I don't understand the lawyer-speak in English, let alone in Japanese.

Probably very old news, but apparently Watashitachi no Kyoukasho has been airing for quite some time on AZN TELEVISION. There seems to be one more program on the air this coming Sunday (June 10). I don't know which episode it is; just passed along what I heard. I'm not sure if it is subbed or dubbed in English either, although from the look of ( Read more... )

It has been such a gloomy and uncharacteristically cold and rainy day today and I had to compound the gloomy bit by watching the first episode of Watashitachi no Kyoukasho (English subtitles available here).
